Responsibilities extend across the whole engagement: initial discovery, gathering requirements, drafting the architecture, supporting the proposal, guiding implementation, and reviewing the project once finished. The architect serves as a counselor to customers and to the company's own staff.
Client-facing work is central. Before a sale, the architect is the go-to specialist on Homebuilder functionality, leads workshops with executives, end users and technical people, and explains proposed solutions with business and technical justification.
