CI&T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Terraform and GCP to join its remote team in Brazil. With three decades of experience in technological transformation, CI&T helps large enterprises leverage AI deployment, data solutions, and tech-integrated business strategies. Operating across more than 25 countries with a workforce of 8,000 professionals, the organization focuses on building scalable solutions that create real business impact.
In this role, the engineer will manage cloud-native applications throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment within distributed systems. The position suits an autonomous technical professional comfortable with backend development, infrastructure automation, and resolving intricate technical challenges. Team members collaborate within distributed environments, communicate professionally in English, and maintain adherence to high security and architectural standards.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain high-performance applications following security best practices and architectural standards
- Conduct code reviews and mentor colleagues to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Design solutions within a distributed and hybrid setup while acting as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders
- Manage the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing manual and automated testing as well as documentation
Requirements
- Professional proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Solid background in backend development utilizing Java, Python, or Go
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while navigating ambiguity
- Possession of a full-cycle engineering mindset spanning coding, testing, automation, and documentation
Qualifications
- Google Cloud Platform certifications including Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer
