accesa.eu is seeking a Junior Product Owner with German for an Academy program. Operating from Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Bucharest, and Timisoara, accesa.eu delivers complete digital evolution journeys for major brands across Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, and Banking. This fully remote position places the professional inside a core banking project, bridging the gap between business and IT stakeholders.
The role suits a candidate who can document business needs, streamline functional and non-functional requirements, and handle product backlog prioritization. Responsibilities also include managing the product roadmap, performing functional testing, and mentoring other Product Owners. Team members collaborate within a cell-based organization that prioritizes agility and self-managed communities over rigid processes.
Responsibilities
- Identify, understand, and document business needs in a core banking project
- Moderate interactions between business and IT stakeholders within a mixed team
- Document functional and non-functional requirements and define context, activity, and entity-relationship diagrams
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, write user stories, and estimate them with the development team
- Propose implementation roadmaps to the customer and challenge priorities
- Perform functional testing actions
- Train, mentor, and coach other Product Owners
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Ability to understand the business context
- Experience applying agile methodologies
- Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage change and work in a dynamic environment
- Client-facing and stakeholder management experience with a focus on customer needs
- Spoken and written fluency in English
