SwissBorg is a regulated crypto wealth management company that connects multiple liquidity sources through its Meta-Exchange application to serve nearly one million users. The company is hiring a remote KYC Analyst to join the team on a full-time basis.
This role focuses on helping the organization meet regulatory and compliance standards by managing customer due diligence and ongoing account reviews. The successful candidate will handle user information and documentation, evaluate potential risks, and coordinate with internal groups to maintain accurate and updated processes. This position suits individuals who are motivated, curious, and eager to learn about the digital finance sector.
Key responsibilities involve onboarding individual and corporate clients, conducting risk assessments, performing watchlist and sanctions screenings, and investigating high-risk accounts. SwissBorg operates with an inclusive culture that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Onboard individual and corporate users by collecting and verifying documentation, including source of funds and source of wealth
- Carry out risk assessments for new users
- Conduct periodic reviews of KYC and KYB records to ensure completeness and compliance with due diligence standards
- Screen users against sanctions and watchlists while escalating potential matches
- Perform IP address consistency checks and investigate discrepancies or potential risks
- Investigate high-risk users and execute enhanced due diligence through additional document reviews and checks
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to gather necessary information
- Contribute to various projects and process improvements as they arise
Requirements
- Clear and efficient communication skills when interacting with internal and external parties
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Knowledge of FATF Recommendations regarding anti-money laundering and countering terrorism financing
- Experience with AML monitoring, screening, and handling politically exposed persons
- Demonstrated interest in the crypto sector
- Experience in onboarding individual customers by reviewing related documentation and source of wealth records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in KYC
- Hands-on knowledge of complex corporate KYB onboarding, company structures, and ultimate beneficial owners
- Experience in regular and on-chain transaction monitoring
