This full-time, on-site role in Nigeria oversees the design, rollout and upkeep of health information systems across healthcare facilities. The lead keeps patient and operational data accurate, private and accessible, and works with IT teams and clinicians to improve workflows and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation and maintenance of health information systems.
- Set and enforce policies for data accuracy, privacy and security.
- Work with IT, providers and facility managers to integrate systems that improve workflow.
- Monitor system performance, recommend upgrades and train staff on system use.
Requirements
- 6-10 years in health information management, IT systems administration or a related field, with at least 3 years in a healthcare leadership role.
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, EHR systems and data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and change management skills.
- Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Public Health or a related field; a master's is preferred.
- Certifications such as CPHIMS or PMP are listed as examples of relevant credentials.
