Job Description
Hover builds tools that help people design, improve and protect their properties. Its proprietary AI, built on over ten years of property data, produces accurate, interactive 3D models from a smartphone scan. Homeowners, contractors and insurance professionals use the product, and the company's investors include Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures.
This Lead Product Manager role owns product direction for Hover's Core experience, which covers account setup, sign-in, navigation, team structure, permissions, sharing and collaboration. The role sets the strategy for these shared foundations and works with product teams in construction and insurance. The job includes helping small businesses start on their own, helping larger organizations collaborate with confidence and shaping how AI works across the platform.
The position is full-time and hybrid. The posting points to hubs in SF and NYC, says employees near those offices are expected to be onsite three days or more per week, and notes that fully remote roles are off the table for now. The US base salary range is $196,000 to $286,000 annually, and the posting notes that pay also depends on location, skills and experience.

- Bring AI into onboarding and self-service flows wherever it adds real value
Requirements
- Eight-plus years in product management, with customer products shipped to large audiences
- Ownership of complex cross-cutting areas such as platform foundations, UX core, identity, onboarding or growth, across small businesses and large enterprises
- Sound product and business judgment, comfortable shifting between big-picture strategy and fine-grained interaction choices
- Technical and analytical fluency to investigate product behavior and collaborate with developers on API design, access rules, event tracking and system structure
- Trusted working relationships with designers, developers, peer product groups and go-to-market staff
- Daily AI fluency, with examples of prototypes, agents or workflows and an explanation of how their quality is evaluated
Qualifications
- Track record building products for phones first
- B2B software experience across construction, home services or insurance industries
- Background in bringing separate products together under a single platform
