The company is currently hiring a Logistics Coordinator (B) to handle load creation and appointment scheduling for assigned accounts. This remote, full-time position operates on a Sunday through Thursday schedule from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM CST.
In this metrics-driven role, the coordinator must meet daily production quotas by generating 40 to 50 truckloads per day while maintaining high accuracy. The position requires following established standard operating procedures, verifying shipment specifications, and seeking out automation methods to reduce manual work and boost throughput. Candidates must communicate effectively with shippers, receivers, and internal teams while resolving any operational bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
- Create 40 to 50 truckload shipments daily within Echo systems while inputting data accurately
- Utilize Optimizer, Accelerator, and Vooma platforms to build loads according to account procedures
- Arrange and modify pickup and delivery appointments using BiggerPicture
- Check shipment parameters such as locations, dates, and special instructions prior to releasing loads
- Maintain system documentation and notes to ensure complete visibility of scheduling history
- Handle correspondence with internal teams, shippers, and receivers to verify appointment information
- Process and respond to scheduling and building emails promptly
- Coordinate with sales and operations units to take over their building and scheduling workflows
- Report operational exceptions and persistent problems to relevant managers and team leads
- Achieve assigned qualitative and quantitative productivity goals
Requirements
- Familiarity with Optimizer and Accelerator for load creation
- Capability to manage appointments through BiggerPicture and utilize Vooma when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook along with Google Sheets
- Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute combined with web navigation proficiency
- Ability to spot process automation possibilities and implement procedure enhancements
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management capabilities
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- High level of attention to detail, motivation, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
