Job Description
This hybrid Hyderabad position is embedded in Tide's Ongoing Monitoring group, part of the first-line operations department. The team tracks member activity to stop and flag sanctions breaches, money laundering, terror funding, tax evasion, bribery, corruption, money mule activity and fraud. The manager runs day-to-day fraud analytics and collaborates across geographies with analysts, team leads, product and engineering staff, data scientists and operations leaders.
The manager applies data to weigh fraud losses against customer friction and legal duties, adds to the Fraud Analytics roadmap, and converts compliance and commercial needs into workable solutions. Duties include creating and tuning detection rules, backtesting them, making sure fraud risk is handled efficiently against agreed metrics, and explaining strategy to leaders and non-specialists in a clear, evidence-based way. The post also spots ways to refine existing processes.
