The position focuses on business planning, supporting revenue growth, managing margins, and optimizing functional costs through real-time financial analysis and strategic guidance. Responsibilities
- Build a thorough comprehension of the Instamart business model, consumer base, product categories, and internal functions.
- Perform data-driven trend analyses regarding profit and loss as well as revenue metrics to highlight leadership insights and improve profit and loss structures.
- Understand the core drivers of revenue and evaluate how pricing strategies influence growth.
- Manage daily profit and loss operations through close collaboration with business stakeholders to foster growth.
- Plan, execute, and deliver results for festive and event-led initiatives.
- Partner with category teams to support category development and growth.
- Establish processes for brand new initiatives and refine existing procedures to enhance governance and minimize cost leakage.
- Prepare, oversee, and distribute business scorecards.
- Collaborate closely with business teams and facilitate weekly stakeholder review sessions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for various projects as needed.
Requirements
- Possess a CA, MBA, or B.Tech degree.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Exhibit solid business acumen, financial modeling capabilities, and PowerPoint skills.
- Display strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
- Act as a self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables with minimal guidance and tackles business challenges independently.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and rapid learning speed.
- Communicate effectively through excellent verbal and written skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a business finance partner.
