JumpCloud is hiring a Manager of Professional Services to lead service delivery, consulting implementations, and custom automation solutions for new and existing clients. This position suits an experienced technical leader capable of connecting high-level architectural strategy with hands-on custom delivery. The professional will collaborate closely with internal global stakeholders across customer success, product, engineering, and leadership departments to foster operational alignment, drive product adoption, and contribute to client retention. Responsibilities include overseeing complex tool designs, reviewing data to improve operational processes, managing migrations from legacy directories, and providing technical advice regarding custom integrations and user adoption strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and foster professional growth within a distributed team of engineering and professional services personnel based in India
- Manage team operations using Scrum methodologies including sprint planning, product backlog management, prioritization, and tracking velocity
- Partner with global cross-functional departments such as Engineering, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Leadership
- Define and track professional services metrics to evaluate team performance and drive service delivery adoption
- Design complex tools and technical solutions tailored to specific customer business requirements
- Analyze data trends to implement tooling and process enhancements
- Guide customers through user adoption strategies, custom integrations, and migrations from legacy directories onto the JumpCloud platform
- Commit to working during EMEA hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST
Requirements
- Possess 10 to 14 years of professional experience in programming, scripting, or professional services within SaaS or IT sectors
- Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and overseeing engineering initiatives
- Show proven practical experience utilizing Scrum or alternative Agile frameworks for software team management
- Display advanced proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting alongside working knowledge of Python or other object-oriented programming languages
- Hold deep expertise working with Okta, Active Directory, AzureAD, and Microsoft 365
- Demonstrate advanced comprehension of protocols including LDAP(S), RADIUS, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
- Be located in and authorized to work within India
- Communicate and write fluently in English
Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GWS
- Experience managing Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems
- Understanding of project management strategies applied to technical deployments
