LastPass seeks a Manager, Technical Project Management to lead its Technical Project Management team within the Engineering organization on a remote-first basis. In this position, the manager will direct delivery effectiveness, develop team members, and shape planning and execution practices at scale.
The role involves working with globally distributed teams primarily located in Europe, necessitating strong coordination across different time zones. The person in this position will collaborate closely with engineering leadership, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on expectations, handle risks, and establish scalable methods of working. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the TPM team to ensure consistent execution, delivery outcomes, and accountability across engineering
- Establish and evolve delivery practices for better predictability, transparency, scalable planning, execution, and validation
- Coach and mentor team members through regular feedback, performance management, career growth planning, and strategic hiring
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to align on delivery expectations and manage risks
- Bring clarity to ambiguous situations by helping teams define work, structure execution, and sustain momentum
- Promote the adoption of AI-enabled and innovative delivery approaches that move past traditional methods
- Coordinate communication across globally distributed teams operating in multiple time zones
Requirements
- Proven experience leading delivery-focused teams in a software development environment
- Background in program or project management delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align business and technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to coach, hire, and develop team members to build capable delivery teams
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to engage with engineering teams
- Capability to operate effectively and bring structure in ambiguous environments
- Continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing team effectiveness and delivery practices
