Deloitte in Accra is hiring a Manager for Valuation and Modelling within its Strategy and Transactions team. The role leads valuation and financial modelling projects, covering purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, transaction advice and model review. It is a full-time, on-site position for a candidate with at least five years of valuation experience and a recognized accounting or finance qualification.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple valuation and transaction projects for clients
- Provide valuation advice and opinions on businesses, debt and equity instruments and intangible assets
- Build, review and validate financial models to support advisory decisions
- Perform independent procedures to assess valuation analyses for audit support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or equivalent, with at least second class upper
- At least five years of relevant experience with income, market and cost valuation approaches
- Certification in ICAG, ACCA, ICAEW or CFA Institute, or CFA Level three candidate
- Financial modelling skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- A master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, risk management or a related field
- Familiarity with financial data sources such as Capital IQ
