Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies including Software-Defined Networking, Time-Sensitive Networking, Ethernet communication, Remote Control Protocols, and DDS-based communication concepts
  • Design, implement, and validate demonstrator applications highlighting innovative communication concepts and ecosystem benefits
  • Perform benchmarking, measurements, and technical evaluations of networking solutions based on performance, scalability, and usability criteria
  • Collaborate with experts, product teams, and partners to build technical concepts, innovation assets, presentations, and whitepapers
  • Support technology scouting and strategic innovation by investigating market trends, industry developments, and customer needs

Requirements

  • Enrollment at a university with confirmation that the placement is a mandatory internship
  • Programming experience in C/C++ and/or Python
  • Basic knowledge of networking technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, and routing
  • Familiarity with Linux and development tools
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Submission of a CV, transcript of records, enrollment certificate, examination regulations, and a valid work and residence permit if applicable

Qualifications

  • Current studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
