The organization builds tools for companies to accept payments, expand revenue, and foster new business opportunities. In this remote position, the chosen professional will operate within the Marketing Strategy & Operations group, which oversees organizational effectiveness and transformational programs across Marketing, Self-serve, Startup, and Sales Development.

This individual will collaborate directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and leadership teams to establish strategy, direct operational planning, and steward execution across global initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading annual strategic and operating plans, allocating resources, defining critical OKRs, managing automated reporting workflows, and preparing content for business reviews alongside Finance, GTM, and Corporate Operations. The role suits an analytical problem-solver who can handle ambiguity, apply an AI-first approach to automation, and steer high-impact projects. Ideal candidates excel at turning data into compelling narratives and partnering with senior leaders across engineering, product, analytics, sales, and partnerships to scale operations with focus and discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual strategic and operating plans alongside the CMO and marketing leadership to allocate resources and set execution targets
  • Establish key OKRs to create transparent accountability and quarterback an agile, automated reporting tool
  • Direct core business rhythms for the CMO to provide strategic guidance and focus inspection at appropriate times
  • Prepare content for monthly and quarterly business reviews in coordination with Finance, GTM, and Corporate Operations
  • Apply an AI-first methodology to automate marketing reporting processes
  • Independently scope and execute strategic programs designed to resolve high-impact business challenges
  • Distill insights from complex information to help teams make confident, informed decisions
  • Conduct data analysis and research to shape the overarching company strategy and long-term planning
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to accelerate initiatives and incubate new programs

Requirements

  • Possess at least 10 years of professional background in consulting, strategy and operations, business operations, product strategy, product management, or related fields that combine business and technical competencies
  • Demonstrate experience operating in fast-paced, highly cross-functional environments combining strategy, analysis, and execution
  • Apply critical and first-principles thinking to isolate core business questions
  • Show a strong aptitude for examining data to identify operational problems and formulate solutions
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for leaders across product, engineering, analytics, sales, and partnerships
  • Demonstrate the capacity to execute tasks independently with minimal supervision amidst high levels of ambiguity

Qualifications

  • Prior background in payments, finance, fintech, or high-growth technology companies
  • Experience partnering directly with C-level executives and their direct reports
  • Prior background in marketing
  • Familiarity with analyzing large data sets or using SQL
