The organization is currently seeking a remote Medical Billing Representative based in the Philippines to handle revenue cycle operations.
In this full-time position, the professional will manage insurance claims, process payments, and resolve billing issues. Responsibilities include submitting clean claims through electronic systems, mail, or fax, performing collection follow-ups, and keeping accurate daily deposit records. Candidates will also generate periodic financial reports and attend monthly staff meetings.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit insurance claims via electronic methods, mail, or fax
- Handle inquiries from medical providers, staff, and insurance payers
- Identify and resolve billing complaints and discrepancies
- Review accounts and consult the Billing Team Lead for escalation
- Conduct collection activities including claim corrections and resubmissions
- Process payments and record daily deposits
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly collection and billing reports
- Attend required monthly team meetings
- Protect patient health information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- One to three years of background in medical collections and billing
- Working familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 healthcare billing codes
- Understanding of third-party payer processes and medical coding
- Awareness of HIPAA privacy and PHI standards
- Availability to work during standard US business hours from the Philippines
