This position involves driving awareness of advanced genomic technologies, engaging key opinion leaders, and delivering scientific presentations to academic and community healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Present clinical and scientific data regarding oncology products, focusing specifically on the NeXT Personal MRD assay, to healthcare providers and academic groups
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and leading oncology physicians through ongoing scientific exchange
- Represent the employer at medical conferences, symposia, panel discussions, and educational workshops
- Identify and coordinate with clinical trial sites and investigators for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research studies
- Contribute medical expertise to the creation of slide decks, white papers, publications, and internal training materials
- Gather field insights regarding emerging research, competitive updates, and molecular diagnostic guidelines to share with internal teams
- Provide field-based commercial support and education to the clinical sales team
Requirements
- Possess an advanced degree in a scientific or clinical discipline, or at minimum a Master's degree in life sciences, genetics, or molecular biology
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of oncology, molecular biology, cancer genomics, biomarkers, and liquid biopsy testing principles
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain the ability to travel by air
- Commit to frequent travel of approximately fifty percent of the time, including overnight trips, weekend events, and short-notice trips
Qualifications
- Hold a PhD, PharmD, MD, or Genetic Counseling certification
- Bring one or more years of experience in precision medicine or oncology across clinical practice, research, or industry
- Have prior experience in a field medical affairs position such as a medical science liaison
- Possess familiarity with next-generation sequencing, ctDNA assays, or minimal residual disease monitoring
