In this role, clinicians focus entirely on delivering virtual patient care, conducting evaluations, and completing documentation, while internal operations staff handle scheduling, billing, credentialing, and patient verification. Practitioners utilize an electronic medical record system equipped with integrated video streaming and templates to conduct remote counseling sessions and evidence-based psychotherapy. Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual remote counseling and psychotherapy sessions
- Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and compile patient medical data
- Determine and implement behavioral health treatment plans
- Evaluate the results of mental health assessments
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic support to patients
- Participate in monthly peer review quality assurance chart reviews as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision
- Keep up-to-date with continuing education and knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial interventions
- Possess experience with technology and digital tools
- Maintain a clinical license in the state of primary residence
- LCSW applicants need a Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program and at least two years of unsupervised, post-licensure psychotherapy treatment experience alongside an active, unrestricted LCSW license
- LPC/LMHC applicants need a Master's degree in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program and at least three years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience alongside an active, unrestricted LPC/LMHC license
- LMFT applicants need a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE accredited program and at least three years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience alongside an active, unrestricted LMFT license
