In this position, the successful candidate will work within an agile team to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and services. The role involves translating technical needs into maintainable code, integrating APIs, handling data stores, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new cloud-native applications and services within an agile environment
- Translate technical requirements and architecture specifications into maintainable and clean code
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices
- Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including Azure Storage solutions like Blob Storage, Table Storage, and Queues
- Provide ongoing operations and maintenance support for existing systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members such as testers, technical leads, and fellow developers
- Take part in code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives regarding automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Five or more years of relevant development experience with a technical bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience utilizing Microsoft development tools and technologies
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, serverless architecture, App Services, and cloud configuration
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and non-relational data design patterns
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Qualifications
- Experience developing or supporting financial user systems
- Familiarity with financial systems concerning commodity futures, swaps, or options
- Prior exposure to regulated or federal working environments
