Job Description
This full-time Mid Market Account Manager role is on-site and sits in the Commercial team. The posting does not name an office, but the portfolio it describes is made up of Deliveroo restaurants in Kuwait. That includes high-turnover partners and global restaurant brands, as well as local favourites and selected national chains that play a part in drawing customers to the app.
The account manager keeps these relationships healthy and growing. The job includes running the delivery agenda with each partner, agreeing joint plans that support sustainable growth for both sides, and handling daily account management with the people who run operations on a day-to-day basis. Haggling over terms and building multi-year account plans are also part of the role. The manager tracks operational metrics, helps partners raise service quality, encourages take-up of Deliveroo marketing tools and promotions, and supports partners as they onboard or expand on the platform. Projects with marketing and operations colleagues round out the work.
The posting asks for three to five years of commercial experience in a demanding setting. Candidates should spot growth opportunities with a commercial mindset, be comfortable using data to build a clear narrative, and be skilled at managing relationships and stakeholders. Organisation, a team-player approach and the ability to solve problems independently are needed.
