This is a contract job for a mid-level WebUI engineer on React and Node.js work, based in India. AIDA Recruitment is filling it for a client that operates as a global IT consultancy spanning software development, cloud services, analytics and AI.
The engineer would build and run highly available business web applications on current front-end technology. Duties include hands-on technical leadership, input on architecture, and taking features from idea to live release alongside product managers and other stakeholders. The engineer also helps handle live incidents and steadily improves a containerized platform so it becomes more dependable.
Applicants should bring four or more years of experience with React, Redux and TypeScript-based front ends, plus Node.js and REST API design. The toolchain named includes Jest, Cypress, Webpack, Gulp, Jasmine and ESLint, along with Docker, Bamboo and Bitbucket pipelines. AWS knowledge is a plus. Strong debugging, a client-first attitude and clear cross-team communication round out the profile.
