Job Description
The employer, Anduril Industries, works in defense technology and aims to modernize military capabilities through software and hardware. The Mission Operations Product Manager works on the Group 5 Mission Autonomy team, developing autonomy products for Group 5 autonomous air vehicles. The company says its Lattice OS platform turns many incoming data feeds into a real-time, three-dimensional command and control view.
The product manager oversees the full lifecycle, from first requirements to fielding. Duties cover building product roadmaps and schedules, steering cross-functional choices, handling engineering risk, and weighing design trade-offs together with engineering leads and the business development team. The role also writes autonomy behavior requirements and plans and analyzes tests run in simulated environments.
The job involves working with software, hardware, and test engineers, and with program managers, to specify test requirements and keep system capabilities aligned with mission objectives. The product manager also supports business development by acting as the product voice in customer briefings, demonstrations, and exercises, and by maintaining presentation templates that show what the product can do.
The posting asks for flight operations background as a pilot, or as a CSO or NFO, in fourth or fifth generation fighter or bomber aircraft, or in remotely piloted aircraft, from the USAF, USN, or USMC. Candidates also must hold current U.S. Top Secret clearance and have worked with Special Access Programs. Travel of up to 25 percent may be required, and flexible hours are expected.
The base pay range for U.S. roles is listed at USD 166,000 to 220,000 per year. The company says equity grants are included in most full-time offers and that its benefits cost little or nothing for employees.
