Danaher is hiring an MSAT - Scientist ll to work within Cytiva, one of its operating companies. This fully remote position reports directly to the Manager-MSAT. The professional in this role will evaluate how company products can address customer requirements both pre-sale and post-sale, alongside creating detailed product specifications that align with manufacturer guidelines. The job involves delivering technical support, leading projects of moderate complexity, and conducting supporting activities related to biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical processing trends.
The role divides its focus between technical support, project management, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include offering technical consultation for filter sizing and compatibility, troubleshooting customer complaints, managing trial proposals, interpreting laboratory data, and performing field trial work. The position requires frequent local travel within Korea up to fifty percent of the time, as well as potential overseas travel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and consultation for filter business unit products, including sizing recommendations and process optimization
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer complaints and field issues
- Manage assigned projects of moderate complexity to ensure timely completion
- Prepare trial proposals, protocols, and test reports based on laboratory data and customer information
- Maintain regular liaison with customers to provide status updates and answer technical questions
- Travel to customer sites for technical meetings, presentations, trainings, and field trial work
- Schedule laboratory work and coordinate project priorities with the Manager or Supervisor
- Keep abreast of current biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical processing technologies, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a life science or engineering discipline with two to four years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a life science or engineering discipline with five years of relevant work experience
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record within the territory
- Legal work permit for foreign nationals
- Ability to pass a pre-assignment health examination confirming suitability for the position
Qualifications
- Experience working in monoclonal antibody development, vaccine development, immunoassays, or recombinant proteins
- Familiarity with good laboratory practices and good manufacturing practices
- Experience in process development and optimization utilizing quality by design
