Responsibilities
- Preserve public order, maintain peace, and defend life and property against malicious harm
- Ensure compliance with municipal policies and by-laws
- Control entry and exit points and monitor access to council facilities
- Inspect departing individuals and vehicles to verify proper authorization for council assets
- Document incidents in an occurrence book and inform management about any security breaches
- Handle additional tasks assigned by management
