Job Description
EDB is seeking a NetSuite Developer / Admin to own, extend, and automate the NetSuite environment in a hybrid role. EDB provides a data and AI platform enabling organizations to utilize Postgres for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads globally. This position is weighted approximately 60 percent toward development and integration, and 40 percent toward administration.
The person in this role will maintain day-to-day system stability and governance while building SuiteScript customizations, automated workflows, and artificial intelligence-enabled features that eliminate manual tasks across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support. Responsibilities include building integrations, designing AI solutions such as document data extraction and transaction classification, and collaborating with business stakeholders to convert needs into scalable technical designs.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, and Workflow Action scripts
- Maintain SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms, fields, and saved searches
- Develop SuiteTalk SOAP and REST integrations alongside RESTlet connections linking NetSuite with CRM and banking platforms
- Implement AI use cases inside NetSuite such as invoice data extraction, anomaly detection, forecasting support, and natural-language reporting
- Integrate LLM APIs and NetSuite N/llm modules into workflows with proper prompt design, guardrails, and logging
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, subsidiaries, accounting periods, and segregation-of-duties controls
- Support month-end close activities, audits, and compliance requirements through accurate configuration and documentation
- Gather requirements from internal business teams and translate them into technical designs while providing tier-3 support and user training
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of practical NetSuite experience combining administrative and development duties
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x and JavaScript, including debugging and performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience using SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, and SuiteCloud Development Framework deployments
- Experience building web service integrations via REST, SOAP, RESTlets, JSON, and OAuth 2.0
- Understanding of NetSuite financial modules covering the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, inventory, and procurement
- Practical experience applying generative AI or machine learning to business systems, including prompt engineering and calling LLM APIs from code
- Working knowledge of Git and sandbox-to-production release pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer II, ERP Consultant, or Administrator
- Background utilizing NetSuite SuiteApps, SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, or multi-subsidiary and multi-currency structures
- Familiarity with iPaaS tools including Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or n8n, and data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Power BI
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, or AI agent frameworks connected to ERP data
- Knowledge of Python or Node.js
- Prior work history within a SaaS or subscription business model
