Job Description

Nebius operates a full-stack AI cloud platform tailored for developers and enterprises, supporting workloads ranging from data processing and model training to production deployment. Listed on Nasdaq and headquartered in Amsterdam, the enterprise maintains research and development hubs across Europe, the UK, North America, and Israel, and is expanding its infrastructure footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.

The organization is currently hiring a Network Engineer or Senior Network Engineer to act as the primary technical authority in the APAC region. This position involves managing the deployment, connectivity, and continuous operations of regional data centers, points of presence, and transport fabrics with connections to the US and Europe. Working within a global follow-the-sun operational model, the selected professional will collaborate closely with core engineering teams located in Amsterdam and the United States.

This role is fully remote within the APAC region, with preferred hubs in Singapore and India. Periodic domestic and regional site visits are required, along with occasional trips to the Amsterdam engineering headquarters. Candidates should possess strong routing and switching expertise, vendor agility across modern network operating systems, and the ability to operate independently in fast-moving, greenfield colocation environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete deployment and operation of the network stack across APAC sites, from day-zero out-of-band setups to leaf-spine frontend fabrics and regional backbone boundaries
  • Independently troubleshoot, debug, and deliver connectivity within fast-paced greenfield colocation facilities
  • Partner with core architecture, backbone, and platform teams in Europe and the United States
  • Participate in global on-call rotations and execute changes during coordinated regional maintenance windows
  • Onboard new engineers, author technical runbooks, and scale operational pipelines as the regional team expands
  • Adapt swiftly to shifting business priorities, cluster locations, and deployment timelines driven by customer demand

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on background operating service provider or scale data center networks
  • Working familiarity with BGP, IS-IS or OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, SR-MPLS/SRv6, ECMP load balancing, and L3VPN architectures
  • Diagnostic experience with multi-tier Clos fabrics, TCP/IP, IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack environments, packet analysis tools, and QoS queue behavior
  • Familiarity with Juniper, Cisco, or Nokia routing and switching platforms across various modern network operating systems
  • Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to document complex systems and communicate under pressure during high-severity incidents
  • Authorization to work in the country of application

Qualifications

  • Practical scripting and network programmability capabilities using Python or Go, Git, NetBox, and telemetry pipelines
  • Exposure to high-performance AI networking fabrics such as RoCEv2
  • Experience interacting directly with APAC telecom carriers, dark fiber providers, subsea consortiums, and local Internet Exchanges
  • Familiarity with Linux networking principles, bridge-domains, and host-routed container networking

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Career growth and learning opportunities
  • Professional flexibility and operational ownership
