Job Description
This on-site Manila role covers enterprise network engineering at Sutherland. The engineer designs and supports LAN, WAN, wireless and SD-WAN networks, handles Tier 2 and 3 incidents, implements security controls, and integrates connectivity with Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI. Work is expected on US Eastern Standard Time hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and SD-WAN networks
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex incidents and outages
- Implement firewalls, VPNs, NAC, segmentation and secure remote access
- Lead technical aspects of network projects and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of enterprise network engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and network security
Qualifications
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto or F5 platforms
- Scripting or automation with Python, PowerShell, Terraform or Ansible
