Carrot, a global fertility and family care platform, seeks a Nutrition Expert (Registered Dietitian) for a remote, contract role compensating USD 75 to 95 per year. In this position, you will operate as a clinical resource within the Medical Experts team, delivering evidence-informed, individualized nutrition advice to members navigating reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and fertility. You will conduct one-on-one virtual sessions using video and chat to discuss goals and medical contexts, helping individuals make informed choices without diagnosing or prescribing. Additionally, you will contribute your knowledge to internal training, continuing education, and quality assurance audits alongside physicians, nurses, and other specialists.

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-informed nutrition guidance for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and conditions such as PCOS, thyroid disorders, and gestational diabetes.
- Conduct virtual one-on-one chat and video sessions to educate members and present options without diagnosing or prescribing.
- Stay informed on current nutrition research, practice guidelines, and reproductive health standards.
- Take part in quality audits and compliance initiatives for member interactions.
- Contribute nutrition expertise to internal training programs for fellow employees.
- Collaborate with the Medical Experts team to maintain a consistent member experience.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to meet member demand as program volume grows.
Requirements
- Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, currently practicing or recently retired.
- Three or more years of clinical nutrition experience, including support for patients through postpartum, pregnancy, or fertility care.
- Experience managing nutrition-related conditions such as high or low BMI, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders, or PCOS.
- Excellent listening and communication skills to discuss sensitive fertility and pregnancy topics empathetically.
- Strong independent clinical judgment with comfort working autonomously in a confidential, remote setting.
Qualifications
- Experience with functional nutrition or integrative health approaches.
- Background in private practice.
- Lactation certification such as IBCLC or doula training.
- Previous experience in telehealth or digital health settings.
- Fluency in an additional language.
