Foodics is recruiting an Operations Specialist for the Foodics Pay line. This role manages day-to-day dealings with a partner bank and the POS merchant accounts linked to that relationship. The person serves as the go-to contact for the POS supplier and keeps installation and maintenance tasks inside the agreed service windows.
Regulation takes up much of the job. The holder needs a grasp of SAMA rules, service level agreements and MADA branding requirements for point-of-sale operations, plus settlement and reconciliation procedures. Duties include approving new merchant onboarding, managing terminals and merchant profiles, updating merchant credentials, and driving chargebacks, claims and disputes to closure. The specialist keeps stock and billing records current, reviews invoices before they reach banks, and escalates mismatches to finance for correction.
Reporting runs on a regular cycle. The role produces daily POS installation and maintenance logs, SAMA SLA reports for POS suppliers, and periodic mandate reports on active and inactive merchants, customer segments and stock. The posting also expects a backup person to be arranged so reporting continues during leave. The role is full-time and on-site, and no salary is included.
Responsibilities
- Lead routine engagement with the partner bank and act as single contact for the POS supplier
- Approve merchant onboarding, manage terminals and update merchant profiles
- Complete installation and maintenance tasks within contracted service levels
- Handle chargebacks, claims and disputes, collecting paperwork until each case is closed
- Settle and reconcile merchant accounts, and check invoices before they go to banks
- Keep stock counts and the billing system accurate
- Produce daily POS logs, SAMA SLA reports and mandate reports on segments and stock
Requirements
- Academic grounding in finance, commerce, economics or legal studies
- Between one and two years as an operations or accounts officer
- Working grasp of banking and of the SAMA regulatory framework
- Familiarity with KSA compliance rules for financial and payment services
- Know-how of the SAMA terminal management system (TMS)
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and fluency with Microsoft Office
- Clear written and oral communication in English and Arabic
- Self-starting, able to juggle several initiatives across functions
