Coins.ph is seeking a Payment Product Design Leader or Senior Designer for its payment products, working on a hybrid, full-time basis in Manila. The role defines the design strategy and standards, leads and grows designers and researchers, and carries product design from discovery and journey mapping through detailed UI. It also involves working with risk and compliance teams and exploring payment trends such as tap-to-pay and QR Ph.
Responsibilities
- Define the design vision and strategy for payment products across app and web.
- Lead, mentor and grow product designers and UX researchers.
- Drive design from discovery and prototyping through detailed UI specifications.
- Build design systems and patterns that keep experiences consistent across channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years in product design, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Track record of designing scalable payment systems, e-wallets or financial services platforms.
- Strong portfolio showing UX strategy, UI execution and business impact.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the Philippine digital payment landscape and regulatory framework.
- Experience in agile product development environments.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD or similar tools.
- Experience designing for mass-market, mobile-first users in emerging markets.
