Americor is currently seeking a Payments Supervisor for a remote, full-time position available exclusively to internal employees. This role involves guiding multiple teams through daily operations, managing escalations, approving exceptions, enforcing company policies, and administering disciplinary actions when necessary. The supervisor will mentor, train, and coach staff members to help both individuals and teams reach their quality and production objectives.
Key duties include collaborating with payments leadership to set performance targets, creating and implementing training materials, leading team updates on best practices, and analyzing team requirements to build reports and tools. The position also requires resolving employee grievances, managing coaches, overseeing timecard approvals, and partnering with management to refine operational processes. Qualified candidates must hold current employment at Americor and possess relevant debt settlement experience to handle creditor guidelines and specialized payment workflows effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with payments leadership to establish team and individual production goals
- Identify training needs and assist with onboarding new hires and continuing education for existing staff
- Develop and roll out training materials across all supervised roles
- Manage escalations and evaluate team outputs for quality and rule adherence
- Host team meetings to share best practices and expectations
- Build professional relationships with internal groups and customers while maintaining open communication
- Assess team needs to construct reports and internal tools
- Mediate and resolve team member complaints and grievances
- Oversee and train assigned Coaches
- Review and approve timecards in compliance with company timekeeping rules
- Partner with management to optimize team procedures and workflows
Requirements
- Must be a current Americor employee whose resume reflects the current position at the company
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in management or equivalent leadership
- Direct experience in debt settlement
- Comprehensive knowledge of creditor guidelines and the debt settlement workflow
- Proficiency in MS Office programs with intermediate computer literacy and efficient typing skills
