Job Description
OneDigital is looking for a remote PBM RFP and Pricing Lead. The new hire will oversee how pharmacy benefit manager bids are solicited and assessed, from scoping the request through to shortlisting finalists, and will shape how proposals are priced and compared. This person answers to the Director of PBM Performance, who sets the overall course, while the lead handles daily execution and helps build the RFP function.
Numbers drive this position. The work centers on building and tuning price models that account for discount guarantees, rebate arrangements, administrative fees and specialty drug pricing. Bidder financials must be placed on a common footing so offers can be judged fairly, underwriting assumptions get tested, and hidden charges or unusual contract clauses are surfaced. Dense proposal material also has to be translated into clear recommendations for colleagues and clients.
The lead also acts as steward of the RFP toolkit. That includes helping design AI-assisted features that extract contract terms automatically, summarize and compare vendor replies, and project likely pricing results, all built alongside analytics and engineering staff. Mentoring junior staff and supplying subject expertise for business development proposals complete the picture.
Strong applicants bring five to ten or more years in PBM advisory, underwriting, pricing or bid work, advanced spreadsheet proficiency, and curiosity about applying artificial intelligence to operational problems. Candidates must hold authorization to work in the US without visa or residency sponsorship.
