This full-time position operates remotely within Europe and reports to the Finance and Administration Lead, with a dotted line to the CEO regarding culture systems.
This role suits an HR professional who wants to shape internal culture and handle daily operations within a distributed team of approximately 20 employees. The person in this position will balance business strategy with employee needs, managing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and learning programs.
The successful candidate will take ownership of people systems, enhance remote team engagement, and contribute directly to the workplace environment. Key areas of focus include full-cycle hiring, performance support, HR analytics, and organizing occasional team gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve culture systems, including goal-setting, values communication, personal development plans, and remote team engagement.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes such as job description creation, applicant tracking, candidate screening, and careers page maintenance.
- Improve digital onboarding and offboarding experiences for new hires.
- Handle day-to-day people administration like digital employee files, time-off tracking, benefits management, and employer of record relationships.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and update internal policies.
- Facilitate remote performance check-ins and feedback cycles.
- Design and execute learning and development initiatives, including a biweekly company-wide program covering hard and soft skills.
- Plan and coordinate occasional in-person team meetings and virtual global events.
- Deliver HR analytics covering headcount reporting, attrition tracking, and compensation benchmarking.
- Lead internal communications regarding company updates, team news, and biannual culture measurements.
Requirements
- Possess 3 to 5 years of human resources experience within medium-sized companies ranging from 20 to 100 employees, ideally in a remote setting.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understand general HR policies and labor laws in Greece, the United Kingdom, or both.
- Understand how human resources initiatives intersect with business decisions.
- Act as a highly organized self-starter who adopts artificial intelligence early.
- Have experience utilizing HR software systems, specifically Factorial, and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrate strong logistical skills, budget management abilities, and absolute trustworthiness with confidential data.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with implementing business frameworks such as EOS, Scaling Up, Metronomics, or Bloom Growth.
- Hold a professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or CIPD.
- Bring experience using digital talent sourcing tools like Workable.
- Have prior experience working with employer of record platforms such as Deel.
