Oddball is seeking a remote Power Platform Developer to join the CMS team and contribute to low-code modernization initiatives that improve efficiency for federal programs. The company aims to enhance the daily experiences of millions by delivering high-quality software solutions to the federal sector. This role is ideal for a self-driven engineer who values continuous learning, professional growth, and making a meaningful impact within a collaborative environment.
As a developer on this team, you will design and maintain applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps and Power Automate. Your work will involve both frontend and backend tasks to support broader product goals, alongside collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to clarify ambiguous project needs. The position emphasizes autonomous problem-solving, active participation in code reviews, and upholding engineering standards.
Candidates should possess a solid engineering foundation and either have experience with or a willingness to learn Microsoft Power Platform and PowerApps. Strong candidates will feel comfortable handling data and backend systems, navigating open-ended requirements, and communicating clearly within an Agile, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, PowerApps, and Power Automate
- Handle frontend and backend development tasks to support the wider product
- Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to turn ambiguous project goals into working features
- Resolve complex technical challenges independently
- Participate in code reviews and help establish team engineering standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
