In this role, you will lead the creation of scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms using Agile practices to support company-wide AI and machine learning initiatives. You will design global ETL and streaming frameworks, manage infrastructure-as-code deployments, and build autonomous AI agents integrated directly into the modern data stack. The position requires navigating complex cross-functional challenges across divisions such as Finance, Product, and Go-To-Market while collaborating closely with executive leadership, IT, and security teams.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement the technical architecture strategy for global streaming frameworks, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and ETL pipelines.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for the data engineering group by setting development standards and code review practices.
- Build, deploy, and maintain autonomous AI agents using large language models like Gemini and Claude.
- Analyze and resolve high-risk architectural hurdles across various operational sectors, including data warehousing design and schema drift mitigation.
- Coordinate with IT, Security, and Product groups regarding data governance, schema normalization, and role-based access control compliance.
- Establish automated pipeline monitoring and ingestion-tier data cleansing to catch and isolate broken fields early.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to maintain the performance and stability of production semantic layer repositories.
Requirements
- Ten or more years of professional experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or related infrastructure fields.
- Advanced command of SQL and Python for script automation and AI agent orchestration.
- Demonstrated ability to provision and tune production-grade cloud infrastructure via Terraform.
- Experience in building real-time streaming topologies, high-volume event ingestion, and custom API-driven adapters.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with iterative data delivery in rapid environments using Jira.
- Hands-on expertise in optimizing and managing multi-cluster enterprise data warehouses within Snowflake.
- Background in unifying technical data standards across multiple business units like Finance, Product, and Legal.
- Experience in scaling data platforms tailored for machine learning training and vector databases.
- Expertise in creating organizational frameworks for automated data quality monitoring and governance.
- Familiarity with deploying multi-region cloud infrastructures inside AWS.
