Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js
- Design and maintain back-end services, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Operate and monitor applications on Google Cloud Platform or AWS, overseeing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, security, and cost
- Manage product lifecycles end-to-end, including discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, and ongoing refinement
- Collaborate with creative, production, and operations staff to transform team workflows into software
- Incorporate LLM APIs, agents, and other AI capabilities into developed applications
- Establish testing standards, code review practices, and technical documentation
- Act as technical lead for designated client web projects and oversee freelance developers
- Assess and propose frameworks, tools, and methodologies as company needs shift
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 5 years of primary experience writing production-grade TypeScript or JavaScript
- Advanced expertise in TypeScript, including strict-mode codebases, advanced types, generics, and type-safe API contracts
- Extensive background building and maintaining production HTTP APIs and back-end services in Node.js using Express or comparable frameworks
- Deep familiarity with React component architecture, hooks, state management, and performance tuning
- Hands-on production experience with Next.js, covering App Router, server components, and server-side rendering
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing production workloads on Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and working knowledge of document stores
- Proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices using tools such as Vitest, Jest, or Playwright
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
- Submission of a resume, statement of interest, and code samples or a public GitHub link demonstrating TypeScript work
Qualifications

- Background in creating internal tools, workflow automation, or developer and creative productivity platforms
- Familiarity with extension or plugin development for creative software like Figma or Adobe UXP using TypeScript
