The company is currently hiring a remote Private Brands Design and Brand Lead to oversee the creation of distinctive women's apparel from concept to final execution.
This hands-on role suits a professional with strong commercial acumen and product instinct who can translate data, market trends, and client insights into successful merchandise. The person in this position will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams, including buying, brand management, technical design, sourcing, planning, and external vendors, while utilizing next-generation AI tools to accelerate the product development lifecycle.
Compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 82,900 to USD 149,000 per year, determined by factors such as location, professional background, and experience. Eligible employees also receive medical, dental, vision, and additional benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete product lifecycle from initial concept through physical execution across silhouettes, fabrics, prints, colors, proportions, and construction details
- Design and iterate product concepts utilizing next-generation AI-enabled creation platforms to improve ideation and visualization
- Partner with technical design, sourcing, and vendors to turn two-dimensional concepts into high-quality physical products while balancing cost, quality, and fit
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, client feedback, and historical data to guide future assortment decisions
- Lead collaborative decision-making across brand management, buying, planning, and vendor teams to pitch and advance product opportunities
Requirements
- Possess 5 to 7 years of combined experience in design, product development, or merchandising
- Demonstrate deep women's apparel product expertise with an understanding of silhouette, proportion, fabric, construction, trim, and wash
- Understand the end-to-end apparel creation process from initial concept and tech pack creation to sampling, fit, and production
- Show proficiency in using sales data, client insights, and hindsight analytics to influence product choices
- Be comfortable adopting emerging technology and AI-driven workflows within the product development process
- Exhibit strong visual and verbal communication skills to present product concepts and build team alignment
