Managed.com, the parent company of brands such as HostPapa, ColoCrossing, Hostopia, CloudBlue, and LogoMaker, is hiring a Procurement & Insurance Manager to join its global team on a remote-first basis. This role oversees daily procurement and insurance functions across a multi-brand environment.
The position requires an individual who can manage a unified renewal calendar, handle vendor negotiations, review commercial and risk terms, and oversee insurance policies. The person in this role will also collaborate with finance teams on purchasing controls, utilize artificial intelligence tools to streamline documentation, and report on cost savings and coverage risks.
This opportunity is well-suited for a professional experienced in commercial negotiations and vendor management who can operate independently across North American Eastern Time and Central European Time zones.
Responsibilities
- Manage a centralized renewal calendar for vendor agreements and insurance policies
- Conduct vendor renewals and commercial negotiations utilizing contract and spend data
- Examine order forms, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and SLAs for commercial and risk terms
- Oversee insurance renewals, broker and carrier relationships, certificates, endorsements, and policy changes
- Verify that customer and vendor contracts align with existing insurance coverage
- Prepare records and reports covering renewals, negotiations, savings, expenses, and coverage risks
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounting regarding purchasing controls, invoice inquiries, and budgeting
- Apply artificial intelligence tools to organize information, prepare drafts, filter material, and evaluate alternatives
Requirements
- Direct experience negotiating commercial agreements with vendors
- Hands-on procurement background managing renewals, tracking notice periods, and reviewing commercial contracts
- Working knowledge of commercial insurance with the ability to read policy wording and related documents
- Advanced spreadsheet and analytical skills for cost comparison, deal modeling, and tracking data across entities
- Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools for document preparation and information organization
- Ability to independently manage conflicting deadlines in a remote setting across ET and CET/CEST time zones
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Qualifications
- Commercial insurance renewal experience
- Experience handling liability or litigation-related insurance matters
- Background working in technology or Software as a Service businesses
- Experience operating within multi-brand environments
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English
