Mozn, an enterprise artificial intelligence company specializing in financial crime prevention and enterprise knowledge intelligence, is looking for a Procurement Officer. Based in Egypt, this remote position manages the entire procurement lifecycle for technology, non-technology, and logistics categories, encompassing sourcing, category strategy, contracting, and supplier performance oversight.
The person in this role will handle purchasing operations, convert approved requisitions into purchase orders, and lead competitive sourcing events such as RFIs, RFPs, and tenders using scorecard-based evaluations. Responsibilities also include prequalifying suppliers through due diligence, conducting site visits in Egypt, facilitating IT security reviews, and collaborating closely with internal teams including Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance, and IT.
This position suits a professional with a background in supply chain or business administration who wants to drive measurable cost savings, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts within established compliance frameworks and approval matrices.
Responsibilities
- Convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders according to internal policies and standard operating procedures
- Develop and execute category strategies for technology, non-technology, and logistics spend to achieve cost savings and reduce risk
- Execute request for information, request for proposal, and tender processes backed by scorecard evaluations
- Perform supplier prequalification activities including company profile reviews, due diligence, and on-site visits in Egypt
- Lead negotiations for commercial terms, pricing, and service level agreements on high-value contracts
- Conduct initial commercial reviews of vendor agreements and coordinate with Legal, requestors, and compliance teams
- Oversee product and service delivery while tracking procurement savings and cost avoidance
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate documentation supports timely vendor payments
Requirements
- Three or more years of procurement experience
- At least two years of experience spanning both technology and non-technology categories
- Experience working within banking, financial services, or IT sectors
- Demonstrated track record of conducting RFIs, RFPs, and tenders, vendor onboarding, and compliance management
- Familiarity with local and regional supplier networks, regulations, and markets in Egypt and Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in Jira and enterprise resource planning systems
- Full fluency in both English and Arabic
