Groww, an Indian fintech company that runs a single platform for investing and other money products used by millions of people, is hiring a Procurement Specialist for its Bengaluru team. The person in this role takes charge of how the company buys goods and services, from picking vendors to keeping costs under control.
Day to day, the work covers shaping purchasing policy, choosing and vetting suppliers on price, quality and ethics, and negotiating contracts. The specialist also looks after vendor performance over time, tracks stock levels and demand, and reports savings and spending metrics to senior management. Spending for the Admin, HR, IT and Marketing functions falls under this role, so close work with those internal teams is expected.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 2 years of procurement or purchasing work in a competitive Indian market
- Solid grasp of purchasing principles and good practice
- Strong budgeting, cost-reduction and negotiation ability
- Familiarity with vendor and inventory management systems

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related subject
