Zopa is seeking a Product Analyst for mid and senior levels to join its team in London. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members including product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts to support the Joint Account product. You will provide daily insights, design statistical experiments, establish core performance metrics, manage your analytics roadmap, and contribute to AI-enabled analytics tooling. This position suits individuals who thrive in unstructured settings, possess strong technical capabilities in SQL or Python, and enjoy tackling open-ended problems within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts to deliver daily insights for the Joint Account product
- Design and evaluate statistically rigorous experiments to support iterative product development
- Define core metrics to track product performance, user experience quality, and key results progress
- Manage an analytics roadmap, identify opportunities for further analysis, and prioritize high-impact tasks
- Build AI-enabled analytics tools, including natural language insight generators and internal data applications
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with data manipulation skills in SQL and/or Python
- Background working in a fast-paced setting such as fintech, start-ups, or consulting
- Ability to prioritize for impact and balance precision against effort
- Capacity to navigate unstructured, open-ended problems and extract signal from noise
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starting motivation with a bias toward action
Qualifications
- Experience conducting A/B tests and causal analyses to measure impacts of product changes
- Expertise in creating intuitive data visualisations and self-serve data products
- Background working in cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
- History of defining and building metrics for conversion, activation, retention, and engagement
- Familiarity with consumer-facing fintech or similar digital products
