Keyfactor is seeking a Product Architect to join its team on a remote basis within the United States. Keyfactor operates in the computer and network security industry, providing trust infrastructure for machines and artificial intelligence to protect digital interactions for large enterprises and government agencies.
In this full-time senior position, the Product Architect will design and implement product architectural solutions, collaborate with engineering and product groups to meet business and technical objectives, and establish best practices. The role involves prototyping and evaluating technical solutions, conducting code reviews, participating in quality assurance efforts, and engaging in agile development processes.

Responsibilities
- Develop and guide product architecture implementation
- Provide expert guidance on architecture-related decisions
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align with technical requirements
- Establish and maintain architectural standards and best practices
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for architectural designs
- Participate in quality assurance activities alongside QA teams
- Conduct code reviews and pull requests while enforcing coding standards
- Provide internal and external product support as needed
- Participate in agile ceremonies and iterative development
- Prototype and validate proposed architectural solutions for performance and scalability
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Bring 7 to 9 years of software engineering or related experience
- Demonstrate advanced strategic and technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities
- Possess advanced coding skills and deep knowledge of system architecture
Qualifications
- Experience with OpenSearch
- Experience with Apache Kafka
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture
- Background in high-volume external data integrations
- Knowledge of cryptography or analysis of cryptographic data
