Parse Biosciences, a QIAGEN company, is seeking a Product Manager to oversee current and future offerings within the Evercode single cell product lines. The organization focuses on enabling scientific research and advancements in human health through scalable single cell sequencing solutions. This role is responsible for driving the commercial success of the product portfolio, serving as a primary internal advocate for users, and fostering external community engagement.
The position requires close collaboration across sales, marketing, support, and product development departments. Professionals in this role will define market requirements for upcoming concepts, evaluate customer segments, outline competitive landscapes, and manage product launches and positioning.
Candidates can be based in Seattle or work remotely with frequent travel requirements to the Seattle headquarters as well as industry events. The compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $195,000 USD, determined by experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
Responsibilities
- Manage market development and on-market support for the Evercode single cell product lines
- Define market needs and requirements for new product concepts and development initiatives
- Engage with users to evaluate product strengths and areas for improvement
- Assess market opportunities within various customer segments
- Communicate competitive landscape updates to executive management and product teams
- Produce technical collateral and sales presentation materials
- Build and manage relationships with commercial partners to encourage adoption
- Define and refine market positioning for existing merchandise
- Plan and coordinate new product launches
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the genomics sector
- Minimum of 2 years of direct product management experience
- Demonstrated background in bringing new products to market
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office workspace if not based in Seattle
- Ability to travel regularly to headquarters and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in genomics or a related field
- Master's degree or PhD
- 5+ years of direct product management experience with independent ownership of product strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management preferred for consideration at the Senior Product Manager level
