Renmoney is hiring a contract Product Manager to lead its SME lending direction, and the role can be done remotely from anywhere. The person will take full ownership of a digital SME loan product and is expected to show measurable results early, with first outcomes anticipated within six to eight weeks. The role suits product leaders with B2B or SME lending experience who are data-driven, commercially sharp, and comfortable working across risk, data, engineering and commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of an SME digital loan product from start to finish
- Refine risk models, approval workflows and credit decision logic
- Improve customer acquisition and distribution while growing the portfolio with profitability in mind
- Set priorities from data and unit economics, and coordinate with credit risk, analytics, tech, operations and sales teams
Requirements
- Between four and seven years working in product roles
- Background in SME or B2B lending, with grasp of risk frameworks, underwriting and portfolio metrics
- Demonstrated history of growing lending products to scale
- Skilled at managing stakeholders and fluent in English
Qualifications
- Experience in overseas lending markets, listed as Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the US, the UK and Russia
- Ability to adapt tested overseas lending approaches to the Nigerian market
