Axios seeks a Production Manager to drive daily execution for the Axios Creative House team. In this position, the selected professional will oversee custom video and visual programs from initial kickoff to final delivery, acting as the primary production liaison for Client Success. The company operates as a modern media organization providing trustworthy news content in an audience-first format.
The role centers on coordinating timelines, deliverables, approvals, and cross-functional inputs across internal creative departments, external collaborators, and client-facing groups. The Production Manager will also become an expert in Airtable, serving as the go-to resource for dashboard updates, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization within the production operating system. Responsibilities
- Manage assigned video and custom web destination programs from kickoff through final delivery
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, approvals, and handoffs across internal creative teams, external partners, and client-facing groups
- Serve as the primary production point of contact for Client Success on assigned programs
- Translate client needs and feedback into clear direction for production partners
- Conduct quality control checks and coordinate final delivery across video and custom web experiences
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and status updates within Airtable workflows
- Identify opportunities to improve Airtable dashboards, reporting, templates, and briefing materials
Requirements
- Background in production, project management, creative operations, branded content, digital media, or a related field
- Strong communication skills for working across creative and client-facing teams
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, resolve problems proactively, and escalate risks appropriately
Qualifications
- Familiarity with video production, design workflows, and custom digital content experiences
- Experience using Airtable or similar workflow and project management systems
