The manager directs several priority initiatives that drive growth and innovation and makes sure outcomes line up with company goals. Duties include defining scope, breaking complex efforts into tasks, and drafting work plans with milestones. Stronger applicants have three-plus years of blood bank or transfusion work in a hospital or health-system lab, familiarity with hospital LIS products such as Epic Beaker, SoftLab or Cerner Millennium, user acceptance testing involvement, and LIS implementation, upgrade and go-live experience. Knowledge of Visiun analytics and of laboratory regulations are further pluses.

Pay is listed at 100,000 to 120,000 USD a year. Employees scheduled 20 or more hours weekly can access medical, dental and vision, life and disability cover, a 401(k), paid or flexible time off, tuition help and a stock purchase plan.
