The company is seeking a Project Manager to drive individual workstreams within its overarching business transformation program. This remote, full-time position involves planning, executing, and delivering initiatives that enhance operational methods, including organizational change, systems implementation, and process redesign.
The person in this role will collaborate directly with the Transformation Lead and internal stakeholders to ensure lasting outcomes. Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery from initiation to completion, managing budgets and schedules, facilitating cross-functional working sessions, and applying change management practices. Candidates should be comfortable working in both Agile and waterfall delivery settings while maintaining alignment among diverse teams and external vendors.
Ideal candidates bring extensive background in project management, particularly regarding business transformation, process improvement, or systems implementation. The position requires strong interpersonal abilities, executive-level communication skills, and expertise with tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
- Convert transformation charters into detailed project plans with defined milestones, owners, and dependencies.
- Deliver regular status updates and escalate risks before they become critical issues.
- Host cross-functional working sessions with teams such as Operations, IT, and Finance.
- Maintain risk, assumption, issue, and dependency registers to drive mitigation actions.
- Coordinate resource needs with capacity planning processes and partner with change management resources for project adoption.
- Run stage reviews, present recommendations to the steering committee, and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Requirements
- Possess at least six years of project management experience, focusing on business transformation, process improvement, or systems implementation.
- Demonstrate six years of experience managing multiple end-to-end project life cycles.
- Show proven capability in budgeting, scoping, scheduling, and steering projects from start to delivery.
- Be based in the US Eastern Time zone.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of project management fundamentals including charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change control.
Qualifications
- Bring preferred experience in business transformation projects and implementation work across multiple teams.
- Demonstrate background in driving financial and operational results through behavioral changes, design change strategy, and organizational readiness.
