Job Description

Syndigo is seeking a Project Manager, Implementation to lead the end-to-end setup of healthcare and medical device connections for clients. Syndigo operates a major two-sided commerce network, providing trusted product content and data solutions to thousands of brands and retailers globally. In this role, the successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for healthcare clients from initial kickoff through the go-live phase.

The position requires balancing traditional project management principles—such as controlling scope, timeline, cost, quality, and risk—with complex regulatory environments. The Implementation Project Manager will collaborate closely with internal engineering, product, support, and services teams to manage the complete project life cycle. Daily activities involve running discovery sessions, documenting technical specifications, triaging implementation issues, and conducting executive-level performance reviews. Periodic travel to client locations and company offices is required.

This role is well-suited for professionals experienced in SaaS client management who possess a strong technical background and an interest in healthcare data compliance. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with executive stakeholders and managing structured project plans through launch before transitioning accounts to ongoing support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project life cycle for healthcare and medical device implementations from discovery through delivery
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with client business, IT, regulatory affairs, and quality stakeholders
  • Create detailed technical specifications, solution designs, process flows, and use cases in partnership with development teams
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to track milestones, deliverables, timelines, and program scope
  • Triage incoming implementation issues, determine root causes, and route them to appropriate internal teams
  • Provide technical support to onsite users regarding workflows, feed failures, and troubleshooting through launch
  • Coordinate regular communication, status updates, and milestone reviews with clients and internal program teams
  • Lead structured account handoffs to ongoing support teams once clients are live and stable
  • Analyze project data to generate executive-level dashboards and business recommendations

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in project management or a client-facing SaaS role
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with executive-level clients, suppliers, and consultants
  • Familiarity with product information management, data quality, and complex client workflows
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Access
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, and Wrike

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience supporting medical device manufacturers, life sciences organizations, healthcare technology providers, regulatory affairs, quality management, or healthcare data operations
  • Experience with data governance and maintenance
  • Familiarity with healthcare or medical device regulatory data requirements including FDA GUDID, EUDAMED, EU MDR/IVDR, GDSN, SWISSDAMED, or TGA AUAUDI
  • Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or retail industries
