Job Description
5 Star Global Recruitment Partners is advertising a full-time, remote Project QA Lead role focused on Salesforce applications in the manufacturing sector. Testing is run by an offshore team and coordinated with onshore stakeholders, so the job blends hands-on quality work with project coordination.
The QA lead designs testing approaches, plans and detailed cases for Salesforce applications and their integrations. Partnering with analysts and developers, the lead converts stakeholder needs into granular test scripts and checks that data sources, transformations and load processes behave correctly inside Salesforce. The lead manages functional checks, integration tests, end-to-end flows, regression passes and UAT cycles, tracks each defect until it is closed, and keeps customers and project teams informed.
Leadership is central to the role. The lead guides a group of testers, oversees delivery from the offshore team, and acts as the main point of contact for testing matters. Communication happens in Japanese and English with customers, development teams and colleagues onshore and offshore.
Applicants should have prior software testing experience, with a background in hands-on checks of Salesforce and web applications. Candidates must read and speak Japanese and English fluently. Additional requirements include manufacturing industry knowledge, grasp of STLC stages and Agile or Scrum practice, basic SQL for validating data, and experience with Salesforce testing tools and defect trackers. The posting notes that candidates who are not native Japanese speakers may still apply with N1 or N2 Japanese and business-level proficiency.
