Job Description
OmegaHires is seeking a QA AI Lead to manage enterprise-level quality assurance strategies and testing for artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. This full-time, on-site role focuses on establishing governance, building automated testing frameworks, and driving transformation initiatives across the complete product lifecycle from development to production deployment.
This position is well-suited for a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive background in software testing and specialized expertise in validating machine learning models, chatbots, copilots, and generative AI systems. The successful candidate will oversee validation processes for prompt performance, hallucination detection, bias, fairness, security, privacy, and explainability.
The person in this role will mentor test engineers, collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, architects, and product owners, and guide vendor partnerships. Key responsibilities also involve tracking quality metrics, presenting risk assessments to leadership, and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and Responsible AI mandates.
Responsibilities
- Define enterprise strategies for testing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions
- Establish governance policies and quality standards for generative AI applications
- Validate large language models, chatbots, copilots, and generative AI software
- Create test cases checking for prompt accuracy, hallucination, bias, fairness, and privacy
- Design and deploy test automation frameworks inside continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Lead and mentor teams consisting of QA engineers, automation specialists, and AI testers
- Partner with data scientists, developers, product owners, and architects
- Oversee offshore and vendor quality assurance groups
- Conduct release readiness assessments, test planning, and effort estimations
- Report quality metrics and risk evaluations to upper management
Requirements
- Ten or more years of background in software quality assurance
- Minimum five years of experience building test automation
- At least three years of hands-on experience testing artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI products
- Background in managing testing teams and enterprise-level quality programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Master degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
