Varicent is seeking a remote QA Analyst based in Mexico to join the team on a full-time basis. In this position, the contributor will support the reliability, performance, and quality of the Incentives platform, which automates and manages complex sales compensation plans.
This role suits individuals who want to test low to moderate complexity software issues under the mentorship of senior staff. Team members work cross-functionally to identify defects, validate API responses, and run regression testing prior to software releases. The position involves evaluating new features, logging bugs in tracking software, and participating in testing workflows for small to medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on new features and bug fixes
- Validate API responses and test database interactions
- Identify, document, and prioritize bugs using tracking tools like JIRA

- Determine happy path and negative test cases based on provided requirements
- Estimate assignments and establish the scope for small features or fixes
- Collaborate with development and QA peers to analyze and escalate technical problems
- Contribute to internal QA process refinements by identifying inefficiencies
Requirements

- Basic knowledge of manual software testing methodologies
